Introduction to Cavern and Cave
Diving Seminar
If you are interested in cavern or cave diving and would
like to improve your diving skills, this seminar is a great
opportunity for you. We offer this seminar several times
each year, and divers of all skill levels are welcome.
Seminar Details:
Our Introduction to Cavern and Cave Diving Seminar is designed for technical and recreational divers who
have interest in cavern and/or cave diving, but would like more information before diving into the cavern or
cave course. This is a one day seminar and will be held rain or shine. For divers who would like to schedule
additional dives, we are offering guided dives at various locations after the seminar. Please see below for
more details.
The seminar will be conducted at Ginnie Springs, near High Springs Florida. The seminar will begin at 9:00
am. Divers must register with us prior to the seminar date. Space is extremely limited, so sign up as soon as
possible. The $15 fee will be collected at the time of registration. Your registration fee is nonrefundable
due to limited availability. Please contact us to register.

5:00 - 6:30 BBQ Dinner at Ginnie Springs
7:00 - 8:00 Outdoor Screening of Cave Diving Beneath the Ozark Mountains
8:00 - ? Social time - Bring your own beverages
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age of 15 with parental consent
- Minimum Certification of Open Water Diver
- Minimum of 25 logged dives
Seminar Fee - $15 (includes dinner)

more information on rates. We will likely be eligible for a group discount. More information will be
available upon check-in at Ginnie.
What to Bring:
Make sure you bring all of your diving equipment. Rental equipment is available at the Ginnie Springs
office, but you are responsible for making the arrangements. Two dive lights are required for the cavern
tour. You must bring your certification card and log book. Divers who show up without these items will not
be permitted in the water and will not be issued a refund! Please bring warm clothes as temperatures in
Northern Florida can range from 30 - 75 degrees during winter months.

If you would like to participate in our guided dives after the seminar, we are offering several packages.
Sunday, January 26th - Snorkeling with the manatees, and diving at the Rainbow River - $85 per diver
(includes boat fees for the manatee snorkel, and boat fees for the Rainbow River)
Monday, January 27th - Guided dives at Devils Den - $45 per diver (includes $30 park entrance fee and 2
guided dives)
Tuesday, January 28th - Guided dives at Paradise Spring - $45 per diver (includes $30 park entrance fee and
2 guided dives)
